Over the last 25 years, Neil Pirozzi held financial positions of increasing responsibility in New York City. At Trager, Glass & Company, a public accounting firm, he served as a Staff Accountant. Subsequently, Neil Pirozzi joined electronics manufacturing company Vernitron Corporation as Manager of Financial Reporting. At Olayan America Corporation, he became Controller. His duties at this private investment enterprise included preparing monthly financial statements for eight entities and establishing borrowing policies. Neil Pirozzi also conducted in-depth analysis of certain investment holdings, prepared budgets and variance analyses, and reviewed potential investment opportunities. Other duties Neil Pirozzi assumed include the oversight of tax planning and compliance at federal and state levels. Following several years as Chief Financial Officer at Andco, LLC, Neil Pirozzi accepted a position at D.E. Shaw & Co. as Director of Client Services at the Managing Director’s Family Office. In this capacity, he oversaw budgeting and cash management, financial reporting, portfolio asset allocation and monitoring, and tax planning and compliance for several of the company’s managing directors. In addition, Neil Pirozzi worked with attorneys to create estate plans for the managing directors, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, insurance trusts, wills, living wills, health care proxies, and inter vivos wealth transfer plans. After graduating from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting, Neil Pirozzi became a Certified Public Accountant. Proficient in Quicken, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Advent, and ACCPAC General Ledger, and he holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Also a member of the University Club in New York and the Long Island Platform Tennis Association, Neil Pirozzi directed the St. Hugh Soccer League for 13 years and coached 2 teams. He also supports The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus and Ross School. In his leisure time, Neil Pirozzi plays golf, tennis, platform tennis, and squash. An avid reader, he counts Pat Conroy and Nelson DeMille among his favorite authors.
